| About Denny Doyle |
Councilor Denny Doyle has been a leader on the Beaverton City Council since 1994,
where he has been working to ensure openness and accountability to City Hall.
Denny has been a strong advocate on behalf of young people, seniors, and veterans,
partnering his position on the Council with volunteer activities to continue to improve
quality of life in Beaverton.
Denny's priorities include: rebuilding the City's damaged relationships with Nike and other Beaverton businesses; cutting the Mayor's salary and passing those savings on to the community; property tax breaks for seniors who are in danger of losing their long-time homes in the face of sky-rocketing tax rates; responsible fiscal management so millions of taxpayer dollars are not misspent in failed developments or frivolous lawsuits; and the creation of a vibrant downtown that will bring the community together.
As a 39-year veteran in the management and data processing field, and as President of his own sales/consulting firm, Denny has the leadership experience necessary to deliver on his priorities. His business experience compliments decades' worth of community service to the city of Beaverton:

Denny attended Illinois State University earning a B.A. Political Science with a minor in Physical Education. Ann, his wife of 30 years, is a current instructor and former principal in the Hillsboro School District where First Lady Laura Bush recognized her for exceptional service. Ann and Denny have two grown daughters, Erin and Keri and one granddaughter.
