Denny Doyle is Bringing Change to Beaverton
The Beaverton community turned out in style to celebrate the inauguration of Mayor Denny Doyle and to raise money for charity.  In an event that will surely set the tone for Denny's term as Mayor of Beaverton, an upbeat crowd of 223 people attended the January 10, 2009 event at the Kingstad Center.  "Denny's Dance," as the gala charity event has been coined, will be held each year with a view of supporting and raising money for the Beaverton community.

Change is Underway in Beaverton!

Thanks for visiting my working website. My Transition Team and I are working on fresh, innovative ways to bring about the changes I promised in the Beaverton mayoral campaign last May.

It's an exciting process. Please know that it's open to you and anyone else with a stake in Beaverton's future. This website is your opportunity to see what I'm doing, make suggestions, ask questions --- and get real answers.

Throughout the campaign, during this transition period and throughout my term in office, I carry a let's-make-it-happen attitude. I'm developing new initiatives with a variety of businesses, citizen and neighborhood groups.

Owners of companies large and small, and a diversity of voting citizens, have told me, loud and clear, they want positive change for Beaverton: improved accountability, a property tax break for senior citizens, an open revitalized government, a fresh look at a new downtown Beaverton, and a cultural/performing arts center. That's just for starters.

Building a new, vibrant Beaverton ---- a city government with a positive, can-do attitude --- will be my primary goal as mayor. There are many challenges ahead. and I need your help now and after I take the reins of city government on January 1st.

There's more to Beaverton than what's within the city limits. Many businesses and so many citizens are impacted by the decisions the city makes and the attitude it reflects. Greater Beaverton inter-connects with so many other cities, citizens, and private sector entities not situated entirely in Beaverton. That's why I'm looking at the bigger picture. Your input is most welcome as is involvement from our neighbors in areas like Aloha and Bethany.

Please participate. Help me bring about needed changes. I encourage you to take an active role in the greater Beaverton area community. Be part of the process. Take part in the journey.

Thanks for stopping by. Please, come back again soon. Let me know what's on your mind. Send a message. I'll respond. Be part of the solution. Together, we can make it happen.
